I have read, and I understand and accept, the Terms & Conditions. I also understand and accept that there are no guarantees that any of the Lifeguards in Rent-A-Lifeguard's database will receive work. I also understand it is up to ME, the Lifeguard, to keep my Profile up-to-date. In the event I am contacted for work, I understand that the negotiations of payment and the terms of my services as a Lifeguard are between the Host (person needing Lifeguard services) and me.

How Rent-A-Lifeguard Works

1. The Host (person needing Lifeguard services) will contact you (Lifeguard) if they would like to hire your Lifeguard services.

2. You negotiate directly with the Host on scheduling and payment for their event.

3. Having your Lifeguard profile available to the general public and searching these profiles is a FREE service on Rent-A-Lifeguard.

General Guidelines For Lifeguards Renting Out Their Services

1.   Go to the Search Lifeguards page and be prepared to get information on the event. Please read the entire page so you know how things work. It is easy!

2.   Certification: At the date and time of the event you must be a “Certified Lifeguard”. In other words, if your Lifeguard certification expires today and the event is tomorrow, you must not work the event.

3.   As a Lifeguard you are a professional and you are expected to conduct yourself as such, at all times, and in all matters.

4.   If we find out that any person is using our Website in a deceptive, unethical or immortal we will immediately delete your profile. To insure quality control we may have volunteers who may anonymously call Lifeguards to enforce the integrity of our Website.

5.   The Rent-A-Lifeguard website is for a moral cause. We expect courtesy, respect and integrity with the use of this site and while you are working at events.

6.   We monitor the contents of all Lifeguard profiles and will delete any profiles that are abusing our site, are offensive, misleading or otherwise do not follow the rules of this website.

7.   We encourage you and all Lifeguards to do their part in building the database of Lifeguard profiles. Spread the word of safety. EVERY LIFEGUARD should have their profile listed here. The more Lifeguards that are put to work the more lives they can save. There should never be an unemployed Lifeguard!

8.   If you are contacted and cannot work the event then recommend another Lifeguard and make sure that they have their profile on our site.

9.   Make sure you bring all the things necessary for you to conduct your job at the event. Equipment, cell phone, water, sunglasses, head cover, sun protection, towel, snacks, and alike.

10. We reserve the right to delete any profile, make any changes to our Website at any time and for any reason, without notice.
